About
An independent studio building tools for Claude Code.
Who we are
Doors of Perception is an independent software studio in Japan, founded in 2026 by Ryoma Shigeta. It is a sole proprietorship — bootstrapped, with no outside funding.
We build developer tools for Claude Code. Session Trail lets you browse, search and continue every past conversation inside your editor. Task Trail keeps your tasks as plain Markdown files and records each Claude Code session into the task it belonged to. Both run in VS Code and in editors that install from Open VSX, such as Cursor, Windsurf and Antigravity.
Claude Code keeps every session on disk but offers no way to look back at them. Our tools read and write files you already own — no servers, no telemetry, no account. The name comes from Aldous Huxley’s The Doors of Perception, and from the idea that a good tool adds nothing: it lets you see what was already there.
