Installing, activating Pro, and getting in touch.
Install
- VS Code — install from the VS Code Marketplace.
- Cursor, Windsurf, Antigravity and other editors — install from Open VSX.
- Pro license keys — buy on Gumroad, then activate in the extension.
After installing, open Session Trail with Cmd+Shift+H (macOS) or Ctrl+Shift+H (Windows/Linux), or run Session Trail: Open Chat Browser from the Command Palette. Task Trail appears in the activity bar; run Task Trail: Set up the Claude Code integration to turn on session recording.
Activate Pro
- Session Trail: click the PRO badge in the panel’s toolbar and paste your key.
- Task Trail: run Task Trail: Enter Pro license key from the Command Palette.
A Workbench key activates both. After activation, Pro works offline.
Lost your key?
Your key is on your Gumroad receipt. You can also find it again in your Library on Gumroad.
